NEWS FROM AROUND HARTFORD COUNTY

The Hartford County Fire Emergency Plan monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday May 20th, 2009 at Bradley International Airport Fire Department Station One on Spring Lane Ext., Windsor Locks, CT. Again this year Deputy Chief Doug Whalen has extend there invitational to the county to see what new equipment your department have in your stations and he wants you to bring then to the meeting at the airport and let the plan membership to view all the new apparatus. If all Hartford County members come early you can view all the new apparatus from 18:00 hours to 19:00 hours with the meeting will begin a 19:00 hours.

A guest educational speaker will provide a presentation on the Region 4 Incident Management Team and the Extreme Home Make Over Deployment this past December in Voluntown. There will be also members of the Incident Management Team from Region 3 (which is our Region of the State) to see this presentation and answer any questions regarding Incident Management Teams. After the meeting will be serving light deserts also tickets for the Annual Dinner in June at the Farmington Club will be available at the May meeting at Bradley.

HARTFORD COUNTY FIRE EMERGENCY PLAN FIFTY-NINE ANNUAL MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR DECEASED FIREFIGHTERS

Hartford County Fire Emergency Plan Fifty-Nine Annual Memorial Service will be hosted this year by the Board of Directors of Hartford County. Watch for the date for this year's service in the September edition of the Hoseline.
HARTFORD COUNTY FIRE EMERGENCY PLAN ANNUAL DINNER MEETING

Can you believe that the "2009" Annual Dinner of the Hartford County Fire Emergency Plan is just around the corner? The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17th, 2009 at the Farmington Club,162 Town Farms Road, Farmington, CT. With a social hour beginning at 6:30 with dinner to follow. Tickets are on sale now and will be available at the May 20th, Plan Meeting at Bradley the cost of $20 each and can be obtained from any board member or by calling me John Coelho at 860 793-0871 and leave a message on the machine to let me know how many tickets you need and to put then aside on the list with your name and department.

The committee is busy working on this year's guest speaker more information on this in the June edition of the Hoseline.
